Who This Is For

You do not need an account or a contract to send your first referral.
What to Include in a Referral
The more complete the referral, the faster we confirm. Send the patient's name and phone number; pickup address; destination facility name and address; the appointment schedule; mobility level; and anything the driver should know. Repeated referrals: describe the pattern — for example, dialysis Monday/Wednesday/Friday with a 5:15 AM pickup — rather than listing individual dates.
What Happens Next
We confirm directly with the patient or family, so you do not play telephone. They get a flat quote before the ride. The pickup gets scheduled and confirmed. Because we are private pay only, there is no authorization queue to wait through.
What We Do Not Do
We are non-emergency medical transportation. If it is an emergency, call 911. We do not bill Medicaid, Medicare, or insurance, and we do not book through transportation brokers. We provide private-pay scheduled rides: ambulatory, wheelchair, and stretcher, one-time or standing.

Common Questions
Referral FAQs
Do patients have to be private pay?
Yes. Atlanta Ride Care is private pay only. We do not bill Medicaid or Medicare and do not work through transportation brokers. The patient or family gets a flat quote before the ride and pays directly. Georgia Medicaid patients book non-emergency rides through the state broker, Verida.
How much notice do you need?
For standing schedules, a day or two of lead time is ideal. One-time rides can often be arranged same-day. For discharge-day referrals, call (470) 458-0410 as early as you can and we will confirm what is possible.
Can one referral cover a recurring schedule?
Yes, that is the point. A dialysis patient's Monday/Wednesday/Friday pattern or a physical therapy patient's twice-weekly visits are set up once from a single referral, then repeat automatically. One call updates the pattern.
What areas do you cover?
Metro Atlanta, from Marietta and Decatur to Lawrenceville, College Park, and Stockbridge. If the pickup and facility are in the metro, we can almost certainly cover it.
