Recurring Rides
Dialysis Transportation in Atlanta
Standing 3x/week private-pay rides to dialysis centers across metro Atlanta. One setup, one pickup time, every treatment day.
Dialysis does not run on a flexible schedule, and neither should your ride. In-center hemodialysis means three sessions a week — Monday/Wednesday/Friday or Tuesday/Thursday/Saturday — about three to four hours each, at the same time slot every treatment day. That is roughly 26 one-way trips a month, repeating on the same pattern, for years. More than 22,000 Georgians are on dialysis, according to the American Kidney Fund — and every one of them needs transportation that shows up the same way, every time.
How a Standing Schedule Works
You set it up once. Give us your treatment days, your pickup time, your center's name and address, and your mobility level — ambulatory, wheelchair, or stretcher. From then on, the rides repeat automatically every week. No calling before each appointment, no re-explaining your situation to a new dispatcher.
- One setup covers every treatment day
- One call updates days, times, or a pause for a hospital stay
- We confirm the full schedule back before your first ride
- Wheelchair-on-return only? We send the right vehicle each leg
Scheduled Return vs. Will-Call
For the ride home, you pick the style that fits. Scheduled return: the driver comes back at an agreed time based on your shift. Will-call: you or a family member calls when treatment is wrapping up, and we dispatch the return then. Either way, we do not sit in the parking lot for four hours — we return when you need us.
Medicaid or Private Pay: The Honest Path
If you have Georgia Medicaid, non-emergency rides go through the state's broker, Verida — the single statewide broker since April 2025. Non-urgent rides must be booked three business days ahead. Private pay with us fits three situations: you do not have Medicaid; your broker ride did not show or could not be booked in time; or your family is paying out of pocket for reliability. Missed and late broker rides causing missed dialysis appointments have been documented nationally, and Georgia's brokers have faced complaints and state fines. We are the backup plan and the primary plan in one — flat quote before the ride, confirmed pickup, no broker queue.
Where We Run
We pick up for dialysis centers across metro Atlanta — dozens of them, including DaVita, Fresenius Kidney Care, U.S. Renal Care, Dialysis Clinic Inc., Emory-affiliated units, and independent centers. These are centers we serve, not partners.
Our regular corridors: Marietta and Cobb County along Cobb Parkway; Decatur and DeKalb County along the Memorial Drive corridor; Lawrenceville and Gwinnett County; the south metro — College Park, East Point, Riverdale, and Stockbridge; Douglasville to the west; and the north side — Roswell, Sandy Springs, and Alpharetta. In-town Atlanta is covered too.

Who Sets Up the Ride
Three kinds of people call us. Patients setting up their own standing schedule. Adult children and caregivers booking for a parent. And clinic social workers and discharge planners who need a reliable option for patients without transportation — if that is you, our refer-a-patient page is the fastest path.
When you call (470) 458-0410, have three things ready: your center's name and address, your treatment days and pickup time, and your mobility level. That is the whole setup.
Common Questions
Dialysis Transport FAQs
How do I set up a recurring dialysis schedule?
Call (470) 458-0410 with your treatment days, pickup time, center address, and mobility level. One setup covers every week, so you never call before each appointment again. If your schedule changes or you pause for a hospital stay, one call updates the whole pattern.
My Medicaid ride didn't show up. Can you help?
Yes. Georgia Medicaid rides run through the broker Verida, which requires three business days' notice for non-urgent trips — and missed rides happen. We provide private-pay backup rides, including standing schedules, with a flat quote before the ride and no broker wait.
Do you wait at the center during my treatment?
No. You choose a scheduled return — the driver comes back at an agreed time based on your shift — or will-call, where you call when treatment is wrapping up and we dispatch the return. Either way, you are not paying for a driver to sit in the parking lot for four hours.
What if I need a wheelchair after treatment but not before?
That is common. Tell us when you book and we send the right vehicle for each leg: ambulatory for pickup and a wheelchair van for the return, or whatever combination you need. Ambulatory, wheelchair, and stretcher levels are all available.
Which dialysis centers do you serve?
Dozens across metro Atlanta, including DaVita, Fresenius Kidney Care, U.S. Renal Care, Dialysis Clinic Inc., Emory-affiliated units, and independent centers — from Marietta and Decatur to Lawrenceville, College Park, and Stockbridge. These are centers we serve, not partners.
