Wheelchair Transport to Dialysis in Marietta, GA

Recurring, private-pay rides to Cobb County dialysis centers. One setup, the same pickup window every treatment day.

In-center hemodialysis runs three days a week, about three to four hours a session, in the same time slot every treatment day. Miss the ride and you miss the session. For patients who use a wheelchair, feel wiped out after treatment, or do not have family free at 5:30 AM, reliable transport is what makes the treatment plan work at all.

The Local Picture

Marietta and the surrounding Cobb County area hold 11 or more dialysis sites. The heaviest concentration sits along the Cobb Parkway corridor, anchored by DaVita's Kennestone location, with additional sites through Smyrna, Kennesaw, Austell, and Powder Springs. U.S. Renal Care also operates in Marietta and nearby Kennesaw. Wherever your center sits in the Marietta area, it is on a corridor we already run every treatment day — and that is exactly what keeps early-morning pickup windows reliable.

How Standing Scheduling Works

You do not book 26 rides a month. You set up one standing schedule: your treatment days, your pickup time, your center's name, and your mobility level — ambulatory, wheelchair, or stretcher. We hold the same pickup window every treatment day. The return works two ways: a scheduled pickup time, or a will-call where you tell us you are ready and the driver comes. If your center moves your time slot, one call moves the whole schedule.

When the Broker Ride Doesn't Show

Since April 2025, Verida has been Georgia's single statewide Medicaid NEMT broker, and members must book non-urgent rides three business days ahead. Missed and late broker rides are a documented problem, including missed dialysis appointments. If you are not Medicaid-eligible, could not get a ride booked in time, or got stood up, private-pay NEMT is the backup: you book directly with us, no broker, no three-day rule, and the driver is accountable to you.

Getting Started

  1. Call with your center's name, treatment days, and pickup time.
  2. Tell us your mobility level — wheelchair, ambulatory, or stretcher.
  3. Choose your return style: fixed pickup time or will-call.
  4. We lock in the standing schedule. You call only if something changes.

Common Questions

Marietta Dialysis Transport FAQs

How do I set up recurring dialysis rides in Marietta?

Call (470) 458-0410 with your treatment days, pickup time, center address, and mobility level. One setup covers every treatment day, so there is no weekly rebooking.

Which Marietta dialysis centers do you serve?

We serve centers along the Cobb Parkway corridor and surrounding Cobb County, including DaVita Kennestone and U.S. Renal Care. These are centers we serve, not partners.

What if my Medicaid ride does not show up?

Georgia Medicaid rides run through the broker Verida and must be booked three business days ahead. If a broker ride fails, you can book a private-pay backup with us: no broker, no three-day rule, confirmed pickup.
